I lost 6 marks i physics that means i lost 2 marks in Science by taking average .is it correct????

I'm not sure how to answer this question. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Give reason as to why the oxidizing power of elements increase  on moving from left to right along a period

Should my answer be that across a period the non metallic character, IP and electronegativity increases thus kthey can more easily gain electrons as you move from left to right.

I know it's not relevant now but isn't  maths paper yet uploaded I need to check something.

Suppose they ask 'Select a basic oxide from the two options: Na2O and MgO'.  Which one would you write?  only one answer.
