A man sold 400(Rs 20)shares  of a company paying 5% at Rs 18 and invested the proceeds in (Rs 10) shares of another company paying 7% at Rs 12.How many Rs 10shares did he buy and hat was his change in income? pls solve this.

Guys give me few examples of significant figures and round it off to 5 ,4 ,3 ,2 significant figures..plz...Especially numbers which have 0s....example :360.025...this number is quite tricky...give the 3 significant no of this......well 5 sig value is 360.03 and 4 sig value is 360.0 ....2 sig value is 360 . Am i right ?? then what is 3 sig value of it ??

A man bought  certain no. of chairs  for Rs.10000.He kept one for his own use and sold the rest at the rate of Rs.50 more than that he gave for 1 chair  and made a profit of Rs.450.Find the no.of chairs he bought..
