Study the same and then answer the questions that follow: [5] 1. What is the colour of dry cobalt chloride paper? 2. Is the experiment leaf a monocot or a dicot leaf. Give a reason to support your answer. 3. Why are the glass slides placed over the dry cobalt chloride papers? 4. After about half an hour what change, if any, would you expect to find in the cobalt chloride paper placed on the dorsal sides and ventral sides of the leaf. Give a reason to support your answer. 5. Define the term transpiration. b) The diagram given below represents a certain category of blood vessels showing the role of a special structure in their walls: [5] 1.
