SECTION - I Q1) a) Explain different tools and techniques of Industrial Engineering which can be used to develop Material Handling System. [8] b) Explain functions of material handling. Explain engineering factors and economic factors to be considered in M.H. problems. It s speed is 50 ft/min and the spacing of the part carries along its length is 25 ft. Each carrier can hold 10 parts. The time required to load a part is 0.30 minute and unload time is same.
