Wars majorly reflect the collective consciousness if people in an organized manner. The French quest to recapture the coal mines from Germany is an instance in order. On the otherhand thinkers like David Hume, John Paul Scott, Freud, Eros have argued that humans are instinctively aggressive having a lust for hatred and destruction. Conversely it was shown at the Seville Conference that violence is not in our genes. Wars can also be seen in the evolutionary context of mankind wherein the living beings have survived on the basis of live and let live .
