MANAGEMENT PAPER III - III NOTE : This paper is of two hundred (200) marks containing four (4) sections. Candidates are required to attempt the questions contained in these sections according to the detailed instructions given therein. Taylor was a pioneer in the Field of Labour efficiency. He introduced numerous innovations in how jobs were designed and how workers were trained to perform. These innovations resulted in higher - quality products and improved employee morale. Taylor also formulated the basic ideas of Scientific Management. Later, Elton Mayo carried out a Series of Experiments that focused on behaviour in the work place. In one experiment involving the group of workers, researchers monitored how productivity changed as a result of changes in working conditions.
