Find the aspect ratio of an image with the dimensions, height-2 inch, width-3 inch. c) Explain the term frame buffer. d) Describe persistence and pitch of a color CRT. e) Show that R *R =R + where R and R are the rotation matrices with angle and respectively. f) Discuss about 8-way symmetry of a circle. g) Define world co-ordinate system and view co-ordinate system. h) Differentiate between translation and rotation. i) If we translate point p(2,3) by using translate vector (tx, ty), where tx = 3 and ty = 5, what will be the new position of point P? j) Give the difference between sealing and shearing. k) Define Orthographic and oblique parallel projections. l) What is meant by vanishing point? m) Write briefly about Rendering. n) Why are hidden-surface algorithms needed? o) Define depth buffer. Q4) Explain the Raster and Random scan system. Q5) Derive the Bresenham line drawing algorithm. Q6) Magnify a rectangle to twice of its size. The opposite vertices of the rectangle before magnification are (10, 10) and (20, 30). Magnification is to be performed about its centroid. Q7) What is the homogeneous co-ordinate representation/Explain with reference to its use in 2D graphics. Q8) Find the condition under which we have Ssxsy*R =R *Ssxsy Where Ssxsy and R are the Scaling and Rotation matrices respectively. Q9) Find the transformation Matrix ML which reflects an object about the line L (i.e L y=mx+c). Q10) Describe the procedure of mapping a point at position (Xw, Yw) in windows to a viewpoint co-ordinate (Xv, Yv) with same relative position.
