Shall I learn the rules for naming compounds by heart? I know the rules and I am good at naming compounds. Will they ask to write 2 or 3 or 4 points of the naming rules as theory question?

If we were asked to write in fill in the blanks :-
__________ reacts with noble metals to form their corresponding as soluble clorides 

then what should we write nascent clorine or aqua regia? I think it will nascent clorine.
