Can we use exception handling and inheritance in programs?

Do we create a main method in method overloading programs if it's not specified in the question?

GUYS Cud someone please explain what pure and impure functions
@sdfg i hv 3 text books and they all say that pure functions are those that dont change the value of  the arguement passed to them.Ill really be greatful if u cud answer this question.
