In the Verity edition of MOV- It is written that Salarino and Salerio are the same person. In Act 3 Sc 2, Salerio comes to Bassanio to give him the news and then leaves Belmont with him. In Act 3 Sc 3, Salarino is already present with Antonio and we know that Bassanio has not reached Venice as he has not met Antonio yet. Now considering that Salarino is not Superman or Flash, how is this possible that Salarino reaches Belmont before Bassanio ? Does this conclude that they both are different persons?
