Hey ppl! Just came to say an important thing. Please read till the last to get an very important lesson.Yesterday's paper was damn easy and there was such a good scope for a centume in that paper. But many of you would have committed stupid errors like taking 2cm in q5 graph, not giving answer correct to 2 decimal places in q9 etc. etc...These are some of the inaccuracies due to which we lose a centume. And you know what I did, let me elaborate. I kept on remembering Saksham's words, do not get overexcited if the question paper comes easy. And so was I,did not lose my head attempted each and every question in section A with full consciousness. But section B became the devil for me.As I progressed I was in the midst of question 7 and finished b) part of it and for the worst of everything my answer booklet got over and I had to get a continuation booklet. And you know what I did, I did not even look at the c) part and straight away moved on to question 9.I remember doing a similar thing in my preboards, as I fetched extra paper I started on with a fresh question.Even when I was revising my paper I damn did not look at that shitty matrix question. And adieu 4 marks. If I had committed some mistake here and there and lost these marks I wouldn't have worried this much. Not even looking at a question and losing marks. So friends commiting a mistake is not a big mistake, but commiting those same misakes again and again becomes the biggest mistake. The loss of marks which I listed at the beginning, mine are due to the fact that we did not read the question paper properly (Give yourself a pat in the shoulder if you have not done these kind of errors and getting a centume) ICSE allots a solid 15 minutes for reading the question booklet. So in the exams to come utilise that period to the fullest extent and assimilate all the contents of the question paper to have a smooth 2 hours after that. And next is geography, a subject which has questions with multilple subparts, be sure not to do something which like which I did.You will never feel my pains and woes until you yourself feel it, I badly wanted a centume in maths and my careless attitude made me pay a hefty price. That puts my overall score expectations in a coffin with maths as a nail in that coffin. So please in the forthcoming exams read the booklet carefully, consciously and whatever synonyms are there relating to this. |
