I follow selina book and there has been a numerical from electricity chapter which seems a bit different-
The power rating of an electric bulb is 40W 220 V. Find the power when the potential difference is reduced to 200V.

Is the resistance taken constant here or the current?

If the question says, draw the diagram of the "PULLEY SYSTEM" with V.R. = 4, then which diagram is to drawn-
1. Combination of 2 movable and 1 fixed pulley. (V.R. = 2^n, where n is the no. of movable pulleys)
2. A block and tackle system with 4 pulleys (where V.R. = no. of pulleys)?

Another question, why are there no hooks connected the upper block of the B&T system with the rigid support for even number of pulleys?
