Hi guys, hope all of your exams r going on well... Plz do take some pains to clear some of my doubts...
1. What happens to the other ions during preferential discharge other than the ones that are discharged?
2.Is it necessary to give an acid during electroplating in the electrolyte?
3.Is a block of silver or a hollow cylinder of silver used in electroplating?
4.Dissociation of NaCl in water is 99%. What do u mean by it?
5. In electrolysis of fused PbBr2, is there deposition of lead on the cathode or on the base of the vessel?

Additional questions:
1.Are we to draw stuff like rheostat, ammeter, battery, key etc etc in electrolysis diagrams?
2. Is current or voltage asked in exam?
