[3] (ii) The objectives of the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act (1974). [3] Question 9 (a) What are the steps that have been taken to save the Taj Mahal from the effects of acid rain? [4] (b) The consequences of an earthquake are known to be disastrous. Suggest six guidelines for the construction of buildings in earthquake-prone areas. [6] Question 10 (a) M ention the objectives of Sustainable development. [4] (b) Explain the need for the conservation and management of water resources. [6]
