Your investigation should address the following: 5289 How the Beveridge Report (1942) proposed to help people with physical disabilities or illnesses. Examples of rationing within the NHS and the impact on clients with disabilities or illnesses, on their families and on service providers. The strengths and weaknesses of the multi-disciplinary team approach to supporting clients. How the social workers code of practice influences their work with clients with physical disabilities. Information that would be included in a Patients Charter in a hospice. 2 1 Gavin, aged 24, is about to be discharged from hospital following a serious road traffic accident that has left him paralysed from his waist down. The hospital social worker is trying to organise a package of care that will allow Gavin to live as independently as possible.
