All printouts must be attached to the examination paper at the end of the examination in the correct order. Use the treasury tag provided to attach your printouts to the examination paper. In January 2008, the committee of Supersavers decided to run a raffle to raise funds for the refurbishment of their building. Tickets would be priced at 100 each. Members would be allowed to purchase a maximum of three tickets. Tickets could be paid for in one lump sum or by instalments before the end of May. The raffle was scheduled to take place at the end of June. In order to store data relating to tickets and payments, two additional tables have been added to the database. Task DB1 Payments for tickets will be collected by collectors during their regular visits. Open the TICKET PAYMENT table in design view and create a new field as follows: Field Name Payment Method Data Type Text Field Size 6 The new field should be positioned after the Amount field in the table design. Create a validation rule for the Payment Method field to ensure that payments can only be cash or cheque. Print a screenshot of the design of the TICKET PAYMENT table showing clearly the fieldname and lookup tab of the new field you have added. Label the printout TICKETPAYMENTDESIGN. Close the TICKET PAYMENT table and save the changes. Create a validation rule for the Date field in the TICKET PAYMENT table to ensure that payments will only be accepted if they are within the specified range. Add appropriate validation text. Produce a screenshot showing the validation rule and validation text you have entered. Save the screenshot as VALIDATION. Print VALIDATION. Label the printout VALIDATION. Margaret needs to produce a list showing which collectors have met this target. In this task, you will use the TICKET table, SAVER table, AREA table and COLLECTOR table to create a query. Using the query function, create a query which will show collector details and count the total tickets sold. The query should show Collector No, Collector Name and calculate a value for Number of Tickets Sold. Save the query as TICKETS. Produce a screenshot of the design of the query. Save the screenshot as TICKETSDESIGN. Print TICKETSDESIGN. Label the printout TICKETSDESIGN. Margaret has decided to use the spreadsheet to set up a template form to allow the collectors to claim their expenses. TASK SS1 Open the spreadsheet called supersavers08_June.xls In the header of Sheet1 enter the following data: In the footer of Sheet 1 enter today s date, your candidate number and your centre number. In Sheet 1 enter, format and save the following data. Rename Sheet 1 as Expenses and rename Sheet 2 as Tickets. The Name Box in a spreadsheet is shown in the position below: In the Expenses sheet select the range in column A from A1 to A8. Move to the Name Box. In the Name Box enter AREACODE and press the Return/Enter key. Place the cursor in cell C11. Select Validation from the Data menu. You should see the screen shown below: 4581 8 [Turn over Examiner Only Marks In the Settings tab, select List from the Allow: drop down menu option. She wants to know if the savers have paid the full amount for their tickets. TASK SS5 Using the sheet named Tickets enter a formula in column H that will display a message to Margaret showing whether payments for tickets have been paid in full or are incomplete. Select Table AutoFormat from the Table menu and choose Table Classic1. Produce a screenshot that shows the title in the correct position, the correct table set up in the correct position and the correct AutoFormat choice. Save the screenshot as SCREENSHOT4. Print a copy of SCREENSHOT4. Label this printout as SCREENSHOT4. Save the document as RECORD4. Insert the numbers 1 18 after this along the top row. Insert the word Totals in the top right hand cell of the table and in the bottom left hand cell of the table. Place a double line around the top row using box setting. Shade this row using the Shading option, Style 20%. Produce a screenshot that shows the correct text, the double line around the top row and a dialog box showing the correct style option. Save the screenshot as SCREENSHOT5. Print a copy of SCREENSHOT5. Label this printout as SCREENSHOT5. Save the document as RECORD5.
