The bakery uses batch production except for its special occasions cakes when a customer places an order for a wedding cake for example. (a) Explain batch production and give one reason why it is the most suitable method of production for most of the work in a bakery. [4] (b) Name the method of production which Daily Bread would use for its special occasions cakes and state one reason why that method is suitable for these cakes.
